The Grand Master of Fantasy Illustration!
No one has had more impact on the fantasy art world than Frank Frazetta. His iconic illustrations continue to inspire artists, even today. He had the unique capacity to conjure imaginative scenes of monumental heroes purely from his vivid imagination.
Frazetta filled his canvases with bold brush strokes over a solid underpainting using oils and classic brushwork. In this Classroom in a Box, you will learn to achieve the same look using oils, an airbrush, and a single flat brush.
New Paint Technology
Over the last decade, emerging paint technology has allowed artists to create the look and feel of oil using acrylics with specialized binders. on. In this video, Dru will show you the secret of getting airbrush paint to resemble oil paint. The results will surprise you.
