Starting with simulated fire, this workshop explores many different effects you can create with the airbrush combined with a few household items. This workshop includes Fur, steel, cloth, tree bark, and real stone, to name a few.
This special effects workshop features the widest variety of textures offered anywhere. You will learn how to paint realistic fire, chrome, skin, leather, fabric, steel, fur, rust, rock, grass, foliage, stars, tree bark, sweat, water, ice and other texture illusions.

We are adding some really cool new effects created by mixing paint with various household chemicals for marble and smoke!
Dru will explain his techniques for creating with paint, erasers, X-acto blade, stencils, and chemicals.
All materials and reference will be supplied in our facility, which features color-corrected lighting and a state-of-the-art air filtration system. There will also be an optional Foundations Day that will be held on the day before this workshop for those wanting to brush up on their airbrush control.
This textures class features several mini-projects. The focus of this class will be to create a variety of textures and surfaces using different tools.This workshop is non-intimidating with both the novice and veteran artist in mind.
Class is limited to 14 and will be filled on a first-come,first-served basis.
