Painting the WOLF
In this workshop, Dru will share the techniques he uses to create a photorealistic wolf painting. The class will have access to a live wolf, where Dru will discuss photography, and composition. Emphasis will be placed on capturing the personality and beauty of this creature.
Besides learning how to render fur, eyes, and teeth, the students will also learn how to merge the fur into the background scene to avoid a “cut-out” appearance.
Students will also learn to quickly match colors with extreme accuracy and precision through Dru Blair's Color Buffer Theory. All materials and reference will be supplied in our facility, which features color-corrected lighting and a state-of-the-art air filtration system.
The day prior to this workshop we will conduct an optional Foundations Day for those new to airbrushing or anyone wanting to brush up on their airbrush control.Class is limited to 13 and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
